Is there anyone that runs successful language discords that can give some advice

I recently started a Filipino-English discord and its relatively active but I want to increase participation and make it easier for beginners to learn. Right now its mostly intermediates-advanced practicing and stuff but I think beginners or slight beginners are too scared too talk even though I have english only and tagalog only channels.

Potentially some translation bots or having people do a lesson a day or something like that? I’m not really sure how to increase engagement.
