Is reading a book in the target language even though SO MANY words require translation a good strategy?
I'm a few months into my spanish journey and bought a copy of "Los Juegos Del Hambre" because I've already read the book in english. It seems like the few pages I've read this far are highlighted all over, with translations scribbled in the margins. Almost all of these are new vocab words I don't know. And it's taking a LONG time.
Is this an effective strategy, or would I be better off using duolingo for a bit longer to pick up more vocab words?
