Hey guys, shameful monolingual here. I’ve completed my French GCSE (general exams in England) and got an 8/A* (top 10% nationally). This is a good grade but relatively this means I’m hardly fluent in French. I enjoyed learning it and I think languages are sweet and I thought this subreddit was gold. I want to progress my French and eventually try another language. How do you go about becoming fluent in a language without speaking it day to day. Is Duolingo any good? I’m a total novice so go easy please.
