Getting into vietnamese. Learned 16 words, only remember 2 by heart, technically 7, it's the symbols in the words.

Ik một= a/an/one (pronunced moe) Trai= boy (pronounced try/chai, can't tell correctly, i only have stock audio to practice with)

are there any textbooks ( like those workbook things) that can help with learning the language and pronubciations?
