I'm someone who gets excited about projects for a few weeks, and is ready to move on to the next thing immediately after (let's face it: you probably are too). One thing that keeps me grounded and focused is just pushing through a little German-learning slump with the help of a Vince Lombardi quote:
"Practice doesn't make perfect. Only perfect practice makes perfect."
If you ever feel like your practice in a language isn't getting you there, ask yourself: "is it, 'practice'? Or is it 'perfect practice'?"
Anyone else have any quotes they feel apply to learning a language? Please share :)
Edit: as a native speaker of English I still can't formulate proper sentences lol
