hello! if anyone here has done/knows about NSLI-Y I would appreciate some advice. One part of the application has you list any language learning you've done in the past. If I've tried to self-study a language on and off (can barely hold a basic conversation w/my fluent grandparents), would it benefit or hurt me to add it? (since one part of the program description says it's for people who have minimal exposure to other languages- would adding it look good/bad for experience basically) Thank you for any tips you have!
