If I'm following the "Mass Immersion Approach" method, how should I grade my Anki cards?

These days I'm doing the following:

Front: {Sentence with the word I'm learning highlighted in bold}

Back: {Definition of bolded word}

So, how am I supposed to grade this card?

  1. If I don't instantaneously remember the meaning of the bolded word upon reading the "Front" of the card, do I just click to see the back and then click "again"?
  2. Even if I do not instantaneously recall the meaning of the bolded word, can I click to see the back, read the definition, and then upon understanding it, click "good" or "easy"?
