I lived a year in the USA and got my English brushed up but now my I got a foreign accent in Portuguese and once in a while I find myself with a hard time to express things, am I overreacting?

I totally emerged myself in English throughout one year and neglected Portuguese as much as I could I thought my accent would be set to the Normal soon but it isn’t entirely normal although it has been 3 months since I got back to Brazil I use English daily for no fewer than 3 hours, so I don’t know if having my English intact and even getting sharpened is undermining my Portuguese
