I'm annoyed when my work mates go like, "Hey there's a Korean guy over there. Speak to him in Korean." Then if my parents meet a Korean, they go like "Hey my son can speak Korean." then turns to me like "Why don't you say something in Korean?"
Like come on stop treating me like a dog doing tricks. That's not why I study language. I use it if I have to but speaking the language just to show off doesn't sound right to me.
