I'm learning Spanish as I've wanted to do since I was tiny. In my pursuits I've set the spoken language of a couple of games I'm playing to Spanish so I can get used to it - the most helpful one I've found so far has been Monster Hunter: World. It's actually taught me a few phrases.
The other day I picked up a quest from a side character and when he wished me luck I verbally thanked him, then realised mid sentence that I was thanking him in Spanish. I don't even know if it was GOOD Spanish, but I think I got my point across either way.
I'm sure that random fiver bro NPC is very proud of me.
