Regarding Glassbow Bilingual books (and addressing the complaints )

My friend is the owner of Glassbow books and I help him out with things, being bilingual as well. We've got a good amount of complaints on this subreddit so I want to go ahead and address them first hand... We definitely have had some problems in the past with translations because we work with freelance translators, so in the beginning, there were a lotta problems with the translations... some translators we worked with in the past ripped us off big time and used machine translations, which is totally unacceptable. As a bilingual speaker, I am well aware of how bad google translate is and always advise folks to be cautious of it.

We’ve been working hard on solving these problems for well over a year now and are really happy and proud of the translations and books we offer now. It's taken a lot of work and many late nights to work out the problems we were facing with our translations. One of the benefits with us is that once you make a purchase it comes with lifetime access to all of our updates and new books/translations, so whenever problems with translations are pointed out to us, we hop on it right away and update our library wherever necessary.

We’re a small and growing company made up of people who just really love language ... This company was founded by my friend David several years back because of his passion for learning new languages and the fact that there just wasn't any good options for bilingual books available, as a result, he got in touch with translators for his own personal use and after the fact was asked by friends and family for copies. That's when Glassbow Languages was born. We’re definitely feeling the sting of our mistakes in the past but we keep improving and updating our library.

We are really proud of our updated collection, and we only keep improving. We totally understand that some of you are frustrated with books ya'll received in the past but we hope we can earn back the trust of the language learning community bit by bit.

Granted, there may still be mistakes in some of the books, and they aren't perfect, but we're really proud of the collection we've put together over this past year and are excited about moving forward in offering even more bilingual books. We genuinely believe its a great assistant to someone learning a new language.

If any of you have any questions or complains please feel free to email us at [glassbow@glassbow.com](mailto:glassbow@glassbow.com), and as always, we offer a full refund to anyone who's not satisfied with our books.

Happy learning!
