I'm living in Romania and trying to improve my ability to understand and speak fluently.
I often find myself in groups of natives where conversations are fast and with a lot of local phrasing.
I do my best to follow the conversation but it's really hard for me to engage because of how fast things are being talked about.
Are there any suggestions on how I can better engage and learn in these situations? Or would I be better off spending time one on one until I can follow group conversations?
I appreciate any and all advice!
