I just began learning Russian and I only have a vocabulary of about 200-300 words. As of now, I am using Duolingo, Memrise, and physical vocabulary flashcards. For speaking practice, I am practicing by talking in Russian with my mom who is fluent in Russian. Once my vocabulary is a bit bigger (500-600), I will be using the New Penguin Russian book to learn grammar. At what point of this process can I start to read very simple fiction books?
