I speak Spanish and Indonesian…was curious how easy it would be to pick up standard Tagalog (Wikang Filipino).
I’m surprised at the number of words I recognize just at first glance.
However, the FSI gives it as a Cat IV language: Category IV difficulty language
Wondering as to why they rated it higher than Indonesian, and if this learning time would be significantly reduced given my background.
