I've seen it said my whole life, that in comparison to other languages, English is more difficult to learn. Why is that? I studied French for a while but I find that language even harder simply due to all the articles and gender pronouns, having to change entire words in order to reference different groups of people. There's a lot of languages like that, too, that gender every object, so wouldn't that make English easier?
