Could someone please explain the differences in the pronunciation of the word "Again" in British English?

I've always confused which one to use: əˈɡɛn (rhyme with "ten") or əˈɡeɪn (rhyme with "pain"). I'm a non-native speaker, trying to learn the RP accent.

Which one would you recommend for me to use?
