For example some days I immerse HEAVILY in the language like I was playing an RPG with a lot of text in French with French audio in the background and I don't understand a lot of the stuff and actually get oversaturated and kind of tired of the language and I feel like I didn't retain most of it. Like that same day it would be really hard to apply what I learned, but the next day it all feels a lot more natural and clear it's like it was kept ingrained somewhere in my mind haha it's awesome.
