Flashcards entirely in L2?

Right now I'm learning Spanish, at about B1 level. For vocabulary I make flashcards in Anki in the usual way, e.g:

Front:

to be able to

Back:

poder

But I've often read here and elsewhere that relying on L1 prompts for this is bad practice, since it discourages thinking entirely in the L2. So maybe I should be doing something like this:

Front:

(VERBO) Tener la capacidad para hacer algo

Back:

poder

Anyone had experience doing this? Does it really help more?
