I am looking for some advice before I start learning Latvian or Lithuanian. Currently, I am open to study of either one because I am looking to travel to the region in the following year. I am a native English speaker, advanced Polish speaker, and low-advanced Russian speaker. Since both of the languages I am considering are Indo-European and not Slavic, I don't foresee a great deal of overlap with the languages I currently know but I was wondering if anyone could offer me some insights into these two languages to help me reach a decision.
