Hello everyone :) I'm an Italian dude and it's my first time trying to learn a language on my own, before this I only perfected my English a little bit.
My girlfriend is Finnish, and so at some point I'd like to be able to speak with her and her family without forcing them all to switch to English.
I got a book about the grammar and my girlfriend has tried teaching me some common phrases but progress is extremely slow, and I'm having a hard time finding any other resources to use.
Now I read that Finnish is notoriously hard to learn but I really need it, so do you have any tips? :)
