Why does Duolingo’s mobile app have a five lives feature and their website doesn’t? I don’t get the point of it because unlike on a game like candy crush the lives don’t make you crave more content, it’s just a language and I think that the five lives feature on Duolingo is really discouraging by punishing mistakes...
