I'm currently at C1 in Spanish and I've decided that December of this year I'm going to do the C2 exam. I don't actually need it for anything, and my current level gets me through very nearly any situation I find myself in. I'm partly doing it to prove to myself that I can, partly because then I'll let myself study a third language, and partly because if I later forget the language I can still feel a sense of satisfaction!
This is my action plan;
-Classes with a teacher experienced in the Cervantes C2 exam
-Reading complicated literature originally written in Spanish (Now reading Galeano's Venas Abiertas)
-Socialise more with Hispanohablantes. I live in Uruguay but I've been a little antisocial the last year and a bit. Time to up my asado attendance %
-Start watching the Netflix original shows in Spanish. I'm not a big TV watcher but if I look at it as studying I'll get through it!
That's pretty much it. Anybody else who has made the jump to C2 please give me any tips you have! Anybody else at C1 who wants to make this their C2 year let's do this!
