Hello! I am somewhere between A1-A2 in Spanish. I've been stuck here a while. I find that when I am trying to study Spanish, particularly when I am reading a book, listening to a podcast, or watching tv, my brain will try to either translate to English, or worse, if there is an thing happening in the background, my brain will get distracted, seize on that, and tune out the Spanish.
Does anyone have any tips on how to deal with this interference?
