Hi, r/languagelearning, I have trouble understanding word stress in Mandarin. From what I've learned and read, you need to put equal stress in every single character in Mandarin, unlike English. Does it include neutral tone characters such as 的 or 吗? How do you put stress on the neutral tone? It doesn't sound very intuitive to me. Help, please!
