Need Help from Arabic Learners!

Hi Enthusiastic Arabic Learners,
I would love to start and learning Arabic however I find it rather difficult and I feel lost whether I should the standard one or should I learn a certain dialect? What are good video lessons that are accompanied by books and exercises(similar to Professor Leonards lessons for Calc). I am turkish myself if that means anything in terms of learning the language.
