Is it worth forcing yourself through a novel that is too difficult?

I’m currently a solid A1 or weak A2 in Spanish, and was considering supplementing my primary study with a Harry Potter book in Spanish. I chose that book for its familiarity and difficulty level, but no doubt I would be fighting through every sentence with the help of a dictionary app on my phone. Do you fellow language learners think this is productive at this ability level or no? To be clear, this is not my primary form of study, it is only supplementary reading practice and vocabulary exposure.
