I feel like the words are going in one ear and out the other

I'm about a B1 un french, and when I listen to the news I can understand every individual word and all of the grammer, but I can't connect them into the meaning of the sentence before the speaker has moved onto the next one.

What kind of things should I be practicing in order to help with this problem? Should I just keep listening to french media?
