Its commonly known that scientific and medical terminology are created using certain Latin and Greek roots, but which form of Greek? Is it one of the ancient dialects that one learns in a classical education? Does Modern Greek have the same root words?
I'm thinking of picking up whichever form of Greek that would help me out with the sciences the most.
