Remembering words that you won't hear on a regular basis

Hello everyone,

I'm a big fan of manga (One Piece and Tokyo Ghoul Re the current ones I'm reading right now), and I always read them in Japanese to make use of every opportunity I can get to pick up language.

But all the words I don't recognize now are words (e.g. 殉職, dying in line of duty, 乱入, trespassing) that would be very unlikely to see again regularly.

For situations like these, where you are learning words that appear very infrequently but you would still like to remember them, what would you do? Anki?
