Most common areas of struggle for German language learners

Hey guys

I'm learning German and I want to make sure that I can study in the most efficient way possible. I'm trying to figure out the hardest areas of German that learners struggle with or, important aspects of German that are neglected by learners. I'm asking because i want to make sure i focus on these areas more. For example, maybe learning the die das der for each noun might be neglected and thus making your German sound like shit. What do you guys think?
