How easy it is for spanish learners to get into italian?

I am currently learnigng dutch and making great progress. After I finish, I plan to dab into spanish. After I become fluent in spanish do you think I can understand italian easily? Would it be easy to add a couple of new words and understand italian?

Is there also an italian for spanish learners/speakers course?
