People asking if you're going to live in the country where people speak the language you're learning

Does this happen to you guys? If someone asks me what language I'm learning and for example I tell them I'm learning Norwegian they ask me ah sooo you're going to live in Norway right?, I tell them no, I'm just learning it for fun and then they ask but why would you learn it if you're not going to live there, like in order to learn a language you have to have plans on moving to the country where your target language is spoken.
