I’ve been contemplating this for a while and obviously the answer is yes, however, I am playing devils advocate and saying it could not be beneficial. If you spend all your time using one mother language and applying it to a certain field to excel you receiving 100% of all possible learning time towards a field; however, if you choose to learn another language to help assist you somehow, then you are able to use 95% (an arbitrary number) of your allocated time to learn your trade. Is this payoff negligible or can it be exploited to better yourself in one certain way?
