Positive feedback on error answers in learning app.

I'm developing Anki templates for creating interactive cards where you can actively enter or select answers and receive visual feedback.

My original idea is not to show big red 'WRONG' feedback to avoid negative reaction and focusing on wrong stuff. But instead to show correct answer and highlight it particularly to gain attention.

So, I have 3 types of feedback, with correct answer shown in all the cases:

  • true positive - correctly answered
  • false positive - incorrectly answered
  • ground truth - no answer given at all, just show the truth.

What do you think? Maybe you have seen such feedback somewhere and have some impression?
