Moving to Italy for about a year, what would you guys suggest for learning Italian before and during my time there?

I’m moving to Italy in a few months for about a year. For those of you that have traveled to other countries and learnt the language there, do you have any pro tips? I’m pretty much coming into this blindly, so just about any advice is appreciated.
