Hi, everyone! I recently watched a YouTube video about how to efficiently do language exchanges and meet native speakers to practice your target language. One of the suggestions really caught my attention: post videos on YouTube of yourself speaking your target language.
Being a relatively shy person, I never gave this idea any thought. But now I'm wondering if any of you perhaps have any experience posting videos of yourself speaking in your target language about things you love (your interests in general), and whether you ever received feedback or found communities stemming from there.
If yes, have you found that you've improved at all in your target language? Or, have you fossilized some speaking errors since no one was there to correct you? Do you think it's a viable endeavor?
I'd really appreciate any thoughts, opinons, criticism, comments, and more. :) Thanks much.
