e and é have been messing me up a lot. I know é is “it is/is” and e is “and” but I always mix up the pronunciations . Can someone clarify which is which

also plz help with others letters. what letter makes what sound, so far I know

x makes a shh like in peixe

h is almost always silent vermelho, hoje, etc

d makes a soft g, or j sound? like in saúde, but it is not all the time. sometimes d makes the d sound, can someone explain

same thing with t, t sometimes makes the t sound but sometimes it makes the “ch”? helpp
